Associate Artistic Director Andrea Ogle says A Soulful Christmas 2025, with its singers and dancers, aims to uplift the spirits of audience members. The gospel choir has held holiday concerts since 2005. The upcoming show is inspired by the PBS program Downton Abbey.
In addition to spirituals and gospel renditions of holiday classics, many songs will pay tribute to the 1920s, the era depicted in the majority of Downton Abbey episodes.
Artistic Director Dexter Criss says the Downton Abbey theme highlights how half the profits from concert ticket sales will go to Mountain Lake PBS, helping your public media station continue its local programs and educational initiatives.
CEO Bill McColgan of Mountain Lake PBS will serve as guest emcee for the event.
